$25 Heritage Vancouver members; $30 non-members
Price includes tour, talk, Indian buffet, a complimentary drink, and cover for the show.
 
Heritage Vancouver’s fabulous evening at the Penthouse Nightclub is back again after last year’s fire forced its cancellation. Join owner Danny Filippone for a night of stories, food, drink, and entertainment as he takes you on his famous “behind the scenes” tour of the historic family business. Aaron Chapman, author of the recently released book Liquor, Lust, and the Law: The Story of Vancouver’s Legendary Penthouse Nightclub, will join Danny in a presentation which includes some never before heard stories from the club’s fascinating past.
 
During the night you will have an unprecedented chance to visit the club’s backstage, dressing rooms, and other areas not generally seen by the public. Danny will also provide a guided tour of the Penthouse’s photo collection. Acts like Sammy Davis Jr., Nat King Cole, the Mills Brothers and Harry Belafonte were regulars on the Penthouse stage and many stars’ photographs still grace the walls as a reminder of the club’s rich history.
 
After the tour and talk, enjoy a full Indian buffet, a complimentary drink, and stay to enjoy the Penthouse’s exotic dancers. Aaron Chapman will also be selling signed copies of his book.
