FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: The Shadbolt Centre for the Arts presents 7 days. 7 companies. One Idea

BURNABY, BC - Witness one concept through the eyes of seven top-tiered artists from a variety of disciplines and see it come to life, seven different ways, in only seven days. There are no limits except the 14 minute performance time - oh and a completed piece in only one week. Sure to capture the imagination, the funny bone and the creative spirit of participants and audience alike, 7 explores the very limits of what possibilities exist when one is pushed to the limit.

Participating artists include The 605 Collective, the Body Narratives Collective, Amber Funk Barton, Bellaluna's Susan Bertoia, Neworld Theatre, Rough House Productions, Kent McAlister and Beth Southwell.

"As a writer/Artist/Musician, I am thrilled to have the opportunity to participate in this whirlwind of creation. It's such a cool challenge" says musician Beth Southwell "and it's exciting to work alongside other artists in the same storm of creativity."

These talented artists from Dance, Theatre and Music will gather on September 23rd and be offered one line of an e.e. cummings poem and an inspiration package to stimulate their senses and get their creative juices flowing. Artists will then take over the Shadbolt Centre in a fury of creation and in just seven days or 168 hours or 10080 minutes or 604800 seconds 7 new, unique and inspiring works of art will exist.

What will the final products be after seven days? The only way to find out will be to join us on September 29, where together we can expect the unexpected!
