The War of 1812 in the West
Kelowna Museums presents lecture on how the west was involved in the War of 1812

Join us on Tuesday, April 23rd, 2013 at the Laurel Packinghouse at 7:00 pm, as Ken Favrholdt, Curator of the Osoyoos Museum, gives a lecture on the War of 1812. This talk will focus on the Oregon Country Legacy and a little known event at Fort Astoria, which prevented conflict in the Pacific Northwest during the War of 1812 and came close to causing a later war between Great Britain and the United States.
