Germaine Koh: Weather Systems Umbrella Project

KAG's current exhibition, Germaine Koh: Weather Systems presents work by Vancouver based artist Germaine Koh from the past two decades and new works made specifically for this exhibition. The selected work relates natural and human systems by focusing on the inter-relatedness of conditions in the built and natural environment that might otherwise seem disparate.

KAG launched a contest with art students from St. Ann's Academy to produce a design inspired by Germaine Koh's work. Grade 9 student Anna Harestad's design was selected and printed onto a limited number of custom umbrellas commemorating this exhibition. Umbrellas are free with Gallery admission, one per person while supplies last (*excluding free Thursdays). Pick up your very own umbrella from the Gallery Store after touring the exhibition.

This project was assisted by the Vancouver Foundation and the Hamber Foundation.

The exhibition is curated by Charo Neville, KAG Curator and sponsored by the Vancouver Foundation and the Hamber Foundation
