POSITION TITLE: Vice President, Exhibitions Innovation

LOCATION: Victoria, British Columbia

ABOUT THE ROYAL BC MUSEUM

At the edge of a continent, of a vast country that leaps over the Rockies and joins three oceans, British Columbia is a territory like no other. The Royal BC Museum celebrates this spectacular geography and the historic richness of the province that developed here - from the prehistoric land mass to the latest cultural turn.

For more than 125 years, the Royal BC Museum has looked to preserve, explain and celebrate BC's heritage. Its seven million artifacts and archives record what BC has been, and is. The Museum's striking mix of natural and social history, from mammoths to masks, enables it to tell the widest possible stories: of land and people, of place and movement. Today, as BC's largest museum and archives, it attracts half a million visitors a year.

The Royal BC Museum is looking forward - what do we need to accomplish for future generations? Everyone who works, volunteers and supports the Museum - locally, across Canada, and internationally, is passionate about the importance of the cultural heritage we look after. We believe a refreshed, modern Royal BC Museum is at the heart of celebrating British Columbia and its place in the wider world.
