Dear Colleagues,
My institution is looking to have some items professionally treated by a
conservator offsite. The problem we are having is how to insure these items
for the duration of the treatment. We have been told that no conservator in
BC has liability insurance or content insurance and that we have to provide
all coverage required. Does anyone have experience with this? Did your basic
insurance cover such offsite treatments or did you have to purchase more
insurance?
Thanks in advance!
Cheers,
Lea Edgar, MAS/MLIS
