Call for Applications
The Graduate Professional Certificate program in Cultural Heritage Studies is now accepting applications for our Fall 2014 cohort.
Join our innovative online program and be inspired by instructors who are renowned professionals in the field.
This thought-provoking and intense curriculum is designed for working professionals or full-time graduate students by being delivered in an online format, one course per term. After four or five consecutive terms (about a year and a half), you can complete the Graduate Professional Certificate in Cultural Heritage Studies, specializing in either museum or heritage studies. Our GPC program is globally recognized wherever UVic courses are accepted for transfer credit; it costs a third of most other comparable programs; and the format is flexible for working professionals..
To be eligible to apply to our GPC program you need to have completed an undergraduate degree with a B average over the last two years of study. Please see the graduate studies criteria here: http://www.uvic.ca/graduatestudies/admissions/admissions/beforeapplying/requirements/index.php
Tuition fees for domestic students are $1043.22 per course, as of 2013 (a slight increase is expected for 2014). The total cost for the program tuition is approximately $5216.10 (not including books and other ancillary student fees).
For international students (outside Canada) fees are $1244.46 per course, as of 2013 (a slight increase is expected for 2014). The total cost for the program tuition is approximately $6222.30 (not including books and other ancillary student fees).

Our application period runs until May 15, 2014. If you apply by February 15, 2014 and make sure all of your supporting documents are in, we will notify you of your acceptance by March 30, 2014.
