The Vancouver Women’s University Club invites you to attend a delightful piano recital performed by West Vancouver UWC Bursary recipient Frances Armstrong.  Held in the elegant drawing room of the Hycroft mansion, Frances will perform a selection of classical piano pieces by Liszt, Beethoven, Ravel and Chopin.

 

Eighteen-year-old Frances Armstrong received her grade 10 piano certificate from the Royal Conservatory of Music and currently studies at the VSO School of Music and the UVic School of Music.  She is the winner of numerous awards and competitions, most recently first place in the province-wide Bjorn and Lori Hareid Senior Secondary competition. The West Vancouver UWC has awarded Frances a bursary for her continuing studies at the VSO.

 

Come and hear this talented, young pianist perform in one of Vancouver’s most beautiful heritage houses.

 Seating is limited.
