Victoria, British Columbia, Canada -  Craigdarroch Castle Historical Museum is pleased to announce the return of its successful  Vintage Craft Workshop series beginning on Saturday,  January 26th 2013.  Ranging from traditional Victorian crafts, such as embroidered sachets and traditional lace shuttle tatting, to heirloom button making, the series will focus on rare, traditional and dying art forms.

Guest instructors include local artisans, authors and experts who will share their knowledge during these one day workshops.   Advance registration and payment is required and signing up early is recommended as space is limited and classes could be cancelled if the enrolment quota is not reached.

"Craigdarroch Castle's mission as a historical house museum is to bring the history of Victoria and the Castle alive and this craft series will highlight some of the arts and activities popular during the Dunsmuir era," explains Elisabeth Hazell, Craigdarroch Castle's Manager of Operations and Development.  "We were very pleased with the response last year and hope that, as the word gets out, we will continue to be able to offer a wide range of educational opportunities."
