Ladies Night:  Little Women

The 1994 All-Star cast featuring Susan Sarandon, Winona Ryder, Claire
Danes, Kirsten Dunst and Christian Bale act out Louisa May Alcott's
story...in Craigdarroch Castle.

Portions of the movie were filmed in Victoria and inside Craigdarroch
Castle.  Come tour the Castle and then watch the movie, looking out
for the familiar scenes and locations.

Doors open at 6:30, movie starts at 7:30.

We continue with our four part lecture series on the Dunsmuirs that
began with last year's presentation by Professor Raymond Dumett of
Purdue University.

Join us on Friday, November 22nd for the 2013 lecture to be delivered
by Dr. Charles Maier on daughters Jessie Sophia and Henrietta Maud
Dunsmuir's marriages in the broader context of Belle Epoque
Anglo-North American aristocratic matchmaking.
