You are invited to Walk for Reconciliation & A New Way Forward
September 22, 2013
Starting 9am - W Georgia and Hamilton

Born from the vision of Chief Dr. Robert Joseph, Gwawaenuk Elder,
Reconciliation Canada is leading a historic call to action for Aboriginal
peoples and all Canadians to come together to build a stronger, more
united Canada. Reconciliation Canada's initiatives uphold and advance the
healing work of the Truth and Reconciliation Commission (TRC) through a
series of events that align with the TRC’s national event.

You are invited and encouraged to join in this historical moment as
thousands of people from diverse backgrounds gather to demonstrate support
towards renewing relationships among Aboriginal people and all Canadians,
based on a shared understanding of our histories and our cultures.

Please find attached information about the free events of Reconciliation
Week, September 16-22 culminating in the Walk for Reconciliation where
British Columbians from diverse cultures will walk a path together for a
shared tomorrow. More information is available at
http://reconciliationcanada.ca/.
