The Arts Council is celebrating their 60th anniversary!

Join Westbank First Nation and the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan in a celebration wrap up of 60 Artists in 60 Spaces! and of course to mark the 60th anniversary of the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan!

** The wrap up party is hosted by the Westbank First Nation Heritage Repository  and will be held at Two Eagles’ 19 Okanagan Grill + Bar Summerhouse on Saturday, September 28th  from 4-7pm.

Come out support and celebrate local Westbank First Nation artists at the celebration wrap up party.

Admission is free and includes appies, music, dancing, drumming and a special featured art exhibition.

To mark the 60^th Anniversary of the Arts Council of the Central Okanagan (ARTSCO) supporting arts in the Central Okanagan they expanded their Artscape Program by showcasing the art of "60 Artists in 60 Spaces"; with artist exhibitions held throughout Lake Country, Kelowna, West Kelowna, Westbank First Nation, Peachland and Lake Country.

Included in the Westbank First Nation exhibitions are 12 syilx/ Okanagan Nation artists and associated artists of extraordinary talents who work in various mediums. Several other performing artists will be joining us for the Wrap-up Celebration – so be sure not to miss it!

"60 Artists in 60 Spaces" showcases displays in selected local business establishments and runs through September 30. For a list of artists and locations please visit www.artsco.ca.
