pARTy Gems  Jewelry Party

Hosted by the Vernon Public Art Gallery

Thursday May 8th, 2014, 7p.m to 9p.m 

 

We are having a jewelry party!

 

The Vernon Public Art Gallery invites jewelry lovers to attend our Gallery
Shop Jewelry Party.  Everyone is welcome and artists will be in attendance
with their latest work on display. Peruse the gift shop, meet the artists
and view the latest trends by Okanagan artisans.  Guests will also enjoy
music, mocktails and snacks.  This is a great opportunity to purchase gifts
in time for Mother's Day!  Shop local and take home one-of-a-kind pARTy
Gems.  Participating artists include Susan Richards of Studio 410, Maude
Besson of Ecceterra Design, Melissa Nasby of Soul Fibre, and Deborah Wilson
jade artist.  Tickets are $5 each and are available at the Gallery in
advance and at the door.  The $5 ticket cost can be used toward any jewelry
purchases at the event.

 

"Our first event was such a success we wanted to do it again," says Dauna
Kennedy, Executive Director. "It's our version of a home jewelry party but
at the Gallery. Join us for this fun ladies night."

 

The Vernon Public Art Gallery is an important part of cultural tourism in
the region, and is a centre for educational and cultural activities in the
Okanagan. VPAG presents exhibitions featuring emerging, mid-career and
established artists working in a variety of media, including paintings,
sculpture, video and installation art. VPAG is the largest public gallery in
the North Okanagan and offers approximately 20 exhibitions per year for
public viewing.
