[BCMA] Question about LED bulbs

We switched over to all LED a couple years ago. So far, they are great. 
Many of ours are mounted to high ceilings and they throw plenty of light.
My only advice is to not by the cheap off-brand ones. The good brands will 
guarantee the life span of the bulbs. We went with cheap ones for awhile 
and had have had to replace almost all of them in short time.

Hello all: 

We are considering using LED bulbs and wondered if any art museums had any 
experience with them. In particular- at least in part because of our very 
high ceilings and long beam throw we are considering: Sylvania Ultra, 
professional series LED, Par 38/ 21 watt indoor/outdoor bulb with a CRI of 
95.

Does anyone have any thoughts or experiences they might share?
