Exhibition : The Clouds Beyond Sky - Chinese Calligraphy by Yun Ping



Organized by the Canadian Alliance of Chinese Associations, The Clouds beyond Sky - Chinese Calligraphy by Yun Ping Exhibition will be on view from January 4th - 5th, 2014 at the David Lam Hall, Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver, 50 East Pender Street, Vancouver B.C. This traveling exhibition opened in New York in 2013, followed by Los Angeles and now Vancouver. The exhibition showcases fifty scrolls of Mr. Yung Ping's recent calligraphy work including Regular Script, Running Script and Running Cursive Script。



Yun Ping is a professional calligrapher in China. As a first-class artist at the national level, he serves as the Director of the Chinese Calligraphers Association, member of the Regular Script Committee of Chinese Calligraphers Association and vice chairman of Henan Calligraphers Association. In his career, he once worked as member of the Accreditation Committee of Chinese Calligraphers Association, curator of Zhengzhou Art Museum and director of Zhengzhou Painting Academy.



Exhibition dates: January 4th & 5th, 2014  9:00am - 5:00pm. Free admission.
