Lewis Bartholomew of The Alberni Project has asked me to respond to  
your inquiry about FoodSafe at your fundraising event.
This is a tricky one for organizations and societies that wish to  
raise money by selling food.
At  least one person must have a FoodSafe Level 1 certificate.  You  
should register your food plan with the local provincial food  
inspection office.   If you are selling hot food it must be kept hot  
at the correct temperatures.   People handling the food must wear  
gloves.  There should be a 3 stage wash down station on site to clean  
your kitchen tools, plates, etc.  If you are preparing off site, hot  
food must be kept hot while transporting, or chilled, transported  
chilled, then heated to correct temperature on site.
