Workshops of Cantonese Opera by Master Amy Bai 白雪梅粵劇濃縮課程

The workshops will be conducted in Cantonese only. 粵語授課.
Cantonese opera has been named National Intangible Cultural Heritage in China and Human Intangible Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
Hosted by the Chinese Cultural Centre of Greater Vancouver, Master Amy Bai will lead four sessions of Cantonese opera workshops on June 20^th and 22^nd. Although in recently years Master Bai continues to promote the art of Cantonese opera in Hong Kong, she has not forgotten her audiences and students in Vancouver. During her brief stay in Vancouver in June, she is providing the following four workshops.
粵劇已被中國列入國家級非物質文化遺產，也被聯合國教科文組織（UNESCO）列為人類非物質文化遺產。溫哥華愛好粵劇藝術者眾，目前更踏入演出旺季。只是入場觀眾大多數只停留於欣賞劇情故事，對精湛之演出藝術未能深入領會，實為可惜。又有對粵劇演出開始發生興趣的觀眾，在正式拜師學習前，想對這門藝術有較多認識，苦無途徑。中華文化中心趁白雪梅老師短暫回溫之便，邀請她主持四場粵劇濃縮課程，講做兼顧，高低並容，趣味濃郁，絕無壓力。白老師在大溫任教多年，桃李滿門，其教學方法深得門人讚許。近年白老師在港繼續推廣粵劇藝術，教演均忙。但不忘大溫觀眾和學生對她的愛戴，樂意抽出寶貴時間，金針渡人，給有意學習者一個短期濃縮課程，機會難得。

Beginner theories:
粵曲入門：教授拍子（粵曲叮板），視譜（粵曲工尺譜），運氣（發聲位置，意氣丹田）
June 20th (Friday) 6月20日 星期五 下午3:45-5:15pm
Advanced theories:
粵曲髙班：參加者有粵曲基礎，教授何謂字正腔圓，髙低跌蕩，抑揚頓錯等。 簡單的粵曲結構，如何謂梆黃、十字句、七字句等。
June 22nd (Sunday) 6月22日 星期天 下午2:00-3:00pm
Beginner movements:
粵劇身段入門：圓場，單邊，俏步，踏七星，何謂 手、眼、身、法、步等。
June 22nd (Sunday) 6月22日 星期天 下午3:45-5:15pm
Advanced movements:
粵劇髙班身段：水袖組合，指法組合，摺扇組合等。
