[BCMA] Small shield

Greetings!  This is a miniature shield and spear points, made for the tourist trade. They are copies of such items made by the Maasai people of East Africa.    Hope this is of some help.

Hi, everyone out there in Museum-land,

We have recently been offered this small shield with two metal spear tips (photo below).

All the donor can tell us is that she is from Claresholm, AB and the shield was displayed on the wall of a house on Columbia Lake where she grew up; the spear tips were always with it. The shield is 33 cm long and the spear tips are 24 cm, and one has a broken wooden shaft.

I’m wondering if anyone can help us identify it – and an appropriate home for it?
