Hello,

I work for the Gulf of Georgia Cannery National Historic Site as the
Educational Programmer. We are currently going through our annual review of
our programs in preparation for the new school year. While we are
successful with our on-site school program offers, there is very little
demand for our education kits. These questions go out to all other school
program coordinators or programmers who have education kits as a part of
their offer: Are your education kits successful? Are there teachers and
instructors interested in renting them? What makes them successful, in your
opinion? Have any of you moved away from education kits (because you are
having a similar experience) and are finding there are other ways to share
your site's resources? I would love to hear from anyone who is willing to
share their experiences with education kits whether they be positive or
negative. I am just trying to gain some perspective on this and wonder
whether there is another avenue I should be in investigating. Your feedback
is much appreciated.
