Work by over seventy local artists featured in new exhibition at Kelowna Art Gallery


Bring out your Best: Members' Exhibition

December 12, 2015 to February 27, 2016


December 8, 2015 - Kelowna, BC: The Kelowna Art Gallery is pleased to present our 2015 members' exhibition entitled Bring out your Best, on view from December 12, 2015 to February 27, 2016.

Over seventy local artists answered the call to submit their best work for inclusion in the exhibition. The show will feature works by the artists in a variety of media, including painting, photography, mixed media, textiles, and sculpture. Bring out your Best is open to the public free of charge.

"It is always exciting to see the wide range of works contributed for the annual members' exhibition," says Nataley Nagy, Executive Director at the Gallery. "We are once again thrilled to be able to share these with the community as one of the many ways we give back to our valued members for their ongoing support."

An opening reception to celebrate the artistic accomplishments of these talented individuals will be held on Friday, December 11, 2015, from 6 to 9 pm, at the Kelowna Art Gallery. Guests will also enjoy music by Ukenagan, a local four-piece uke and banjo group, who will perform a mix of classical, seasonal, and old jazz standards. This free event is open to members and guests, by invitation, and will also double as the Gallery's holiday celebration for members.
