[BCMA] Municipal support for Museums

[Moderated BCMA subscriber listserv.]

The Enderby & District Museum Society receives an annual grant of
approximately $20,000, jointly funded by the City of Enderby (pop. 2,932)
and the Regional District of the North Okanagan, Area F (pop. 3,938). We
need to apply for the grant every year.

The museum is housed in the basement of the Enderby City Hall building. We
are not charged rent, and the city pays our electrical and heating bills.
We do need to submit a property tax exemption every year though.

The museum is open five days a week, year round and has one part-time
employee (24 hours/week).
