Location: Memorial Park Cemetery - Pioneer Section
Date: Wednesday July 29th
Time: 9:00 am

Discover the rich history of our city by travelling beyond the walls of the museum for a tour of the historic Memorial Park Cemetery. This is the first of two guided tours being presented this summer.

Kelowna Museums will be working with Bob Hayes, local historian, to share the stories of the founders of Kelowna. Bob is an active member of the Okanagan Historical Society and the Kelowna and District Genealogical Society, having served as President of both societies for several years.

Memorial Park Cemetery is located near Dilworth Mountain and is the resting place for many of our early pioneers.

No need to pre-register, please arrive at Memorial Park Cemetery prior to the start of the tour.

Each tour will begin at 9 am and takes approximately 1 hour to complete. There is a $5 charge for this event.
