*Gift Shop Manager-Haida Gwaii Museum*

*Job Description:*

The Haida Gwaii Museum is seeking an experienced retail professional for 
the management of all aspects of the Gift Shop operation.

*Requirements:*

The Gift Shop Manager will be responsible for directing the day to day 
operation of the gift shop including wholesale ordering, receiving, 
financial management and supervision of staff in a busy retail 
environment. A background that includes retail management experience is 
required for this position. The successful candidate will have excellent 
customer service and interpersonal skills and be able to work with the 
public and with local artisans.A knowledge of Haida Art and culture 
would be considered an asset. Must have computer knowledge, experience 
with POS systems, a good understanding of financial management and 
reporting as consistent with a retail management position.A full job
