[BCMA] Shifty Sailors Concert - Sept 12

Hello all,

 

Join us for a fun evening at the Cowichan Bay Maritime Centre with the
internationally acclaimed Shifty Sailors, a 16-member maritime singing group
from Whidbey Island, Washington.  Although close neighbours, this is the
Shifties' first tour to the Island.  They have performed their traditional
shanty and other seafaring music as far afield as Eastern Europe and Hawaii.

for a musical taste!  Performing on the pier at the Cowichan Bay Maritime
Centre on Saturday, September 12 at 7 p.m., guests will enjoy songs and
shanties from their six CD's, also for sale at the concert.  One of only
four Canadian appearances this year, their Vancouver Island tour will
kick-off in Cowichan Bay.  Your support for this fundraiser is greatly
appreciated.  Advance tickets are $18 ($15 for members) or $20 at the door,
