Here are the events for the ninth and final week of Summer in the City.

Cinema Under the Stars - Friday, September 2nd at 9pm, Sun Valley Park
This is our Final Cinema Under the Stars night and will feature Spectre (PG-13), the 24th James Bond movie in the series. A cryptic message from the past leads James Bond (Daniel Craig) to Mexico City and Rome, where he meets the beautiful widow (Monica Bellucci) of an infamous criminal. After infiltrating a secret meeting, 007 uncovers the existence of the sinister organization SPECTRE. Needing the help of the daughter of an old nemesis, he embarks on a mission to find her. As Bond ventures toward the heart of SPECTRE, he discovers a chilling connection between himself and the enemy (Christoph Waltz) he seeks. This evening of Cinema Under the Stars is sponsored in part by G&F Financial Group and the PoCo Youth Crew, a community group that will be hosting a BBQ for the community!

Village Vibe Performing Arts Series*-Saturday, August 27th from 2-4pm at Leigh Square
ZeeRowe. Grant Rowe began writing and recording his own music in 2009. It was a jurassic endeavour, utilizing tape players to play back and record over each take. Shortly after beginning, he upgraded to slightly better equipment and carried on. After seven years and writing many songs, he assembled a band to play this colourful catalogue of rock-rooted music, aptly titled "ZeeRowe". With Kaeden Macleod on drums and Jeremy Alain on bass, they're taking stages by storm, filling the atmosphere with the coveted "party vibes". Now, with the first album recorded and a second on the way, the band is playing shows at any of the happenin' joints that'll have 'em.

Delaney Rose, a Canadian songwriter based in Vancouver, is an inspiring, positive and engaging troubadour whose music has been shaped by challenging life experiences which have transformed her creative spirit into a songsmith who delivers memorable melodies of hope and healing energy. www.delaneyrose.com<http://www.delaneyrose.com>

Music in the Park**-Sunday, August 28th from 2-4pm at Leigh Square
Swamp City. In the sounds of Swamp City you'll find homegrown and old time, Zydeco, soulful southern roots and blues made anew by Kat Wahamaa (vocals, guitar, mandolin, rubboard), Tony Rees (vocals, guitar, slide, harmonica), Randy Schultz (vocals, guitar), Mickey Hovan (bass) and Joe Backus (drums). The multi-talented group share an exuberant love of roots music that combined with their excellent musicianship, has delighted audiences at festivals, community events, concerts and more. Kat's "voice you can take a bath in" and from the hip guitar/rubboard, Tony's distinctive drawl, slide and stompin' harmonica, Randy's wailing guitars and southern sensibilities, combine with Mickey and Joe stoking the rhythm engine to make SCR's hot, high energy, uplifting sound.
