After young Riley is uprooted from her Midwest life and moved to San Francisco, her emotions - Joy, Fear, Anger, Disgust and Sadness - conflict on how best to navigate a new city, house, and school. This evening of Cinema Under the Stars is sponsored in part by G&F Financial Group.

Village Vibe Performing Arts Series*-Saturday, Aug 6th from 2-4pm at Leigh Square
The Bird and the Lion. The Bird and the Lion express high levels of musicality with their unique renditions of cover songs. Elaina Buenaventura (aka the Bird) has been a musician for 5 years starting on guitar. Now she has expanded her horizons and plays a variety of instruments centred on her intriguing voice. Amanda Costa (aka the Lion) began her musical expedition 9 years ago with the piano. Currently playing too many instruments to count, she's always on the hunt for a new challenge. These two met each other in Terry Fox Secondary's Rock School program in their early years of high school. As a young band, they continue to take inspiration from anywhere they go and everything they do, hoping to bring people together, one note at a time.

Samantha Stouten. Samantha Stouten is a 19 year old solo singer songwriter from Port Coquitlam. Concert choir, contemporary music class, and some piano lessons have all been vital in her ever growing passion for songwriting and performing. She writes honest narratives as well as abstract lyrics that are accompanied by simple, yet dynamic piano arrangements. Her sound varies from soft and light melodies to darker and more passionate tunes; this is all to express a wide range of thoughts and feelings. She is planning to release her first EP entitled "i don't know" in 2016.

Music in the Park**-Sunday, Aug 7th from 2-4pm at Leigh Square
Arsen Shomakhov. Arsen Shomakhov is a Maple Blues Awards nominee, guitarist, songwriter and singer. He is an electric blues performer truly dedicated to the style's roots yet never hesitating to borrow means of expression from other genres. After moving to Vancouver B.C. in 2008, Arsen formed the Arsen Shomakhov Trio that currently features Bruce O'Neill on bass and Chip Hart on drums. As a truly international blues artist, Arsen currently continues to perform at blues festivals throughout Europe, USA and Canada. www.ArsenShomakhov.ca<http://www.ArsenShomakhov.ca>
