The 30th Anniversary of Midsummer's Eve of the Arts!

What: Midsummer's Eve of the Arts Benefit Event
Where: Turtle Mountain Winery, 3111 Agnew Rd.
When: Wednesday July 20, 2016, 6:30 p.m. to 11:00 p.m.

The anticipated and always popular Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts is taking place once again in Vernon on July 20th. This year marks the 30th anniversary of the Vernon Public Art Gallery’s social event of the season.

Enjoy stunning views of the Okanagan while dining on gourmet appetizers, local beer, wine and cocktails, live music by Feet First, as well as an always exciting live art auction with Don and Peter Raffan of Valley Auction Ltd. Held at Turtle Mountain Winery, Vernon Public Art Gallery is thrilled to be celebrating 30 years of Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts, which is the major fundraiser of the year for the Vernon Public Art Gallery. The funds raised go towards public programming, art education and exhibitions throughout the year at the Vernon Public Art Gallery.

“It has been thirty years since a small group of women had the vision to create a summer art auction event to support the operations and growth of the Vernon Public Art Gallery.  Little did they know it would grow from a small garden party into the social event of the season for residents of Greater Vernon.  Thirty years later, Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts is still going strong providing critical dollars for the VPAG’s educational and public programming, as well as, providing a beautiful outdoor evening event for enjoying art, music, and an array of appetizers and refreshments, all with a view of our spectacular landscape. We hope you are able to come out and celebrate with us on July 20th.  Catch a ride up to the venue via our complimentary shuttle service from Kal Tire Place, thanks to our Corporate Partner Bannister Honda.”

“To celebrate this milestone, we have created ‘The gift of culture’, a fun surprise raffle gift that will contain items all relating to culture in our area.  Tickets for this raffle are only available at Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts.  We are excited to introduce this entertaining new draw into the mix of activities planned for the night.  The winner of the ‘gift of culture’ will be announced that evening and invited to find out what the giant gift box contains at the end of the live auction.”

Tickets are now on sale for Midsummer’s Eve of the Arts. Individual tickets may be purchased at the early bird price of only $50.00 until July 1st. Tickets purchased after July 1st will be $60.00. A limited number of VIP tables are also up for purchase, which includes table seating for 4 people, and sell for $300.00. Please note that there are a very limited amount of VIP tables available, so jump on this opportunity while you still can!
