Request for Session Proposals: Alberta Museums Association and Western Museums Association Joint International Conference: UNITE

Museums moving forward - together.

The Alberta Museums Association (AMA) is thrilled to announce an exciting partnership with the Western Museums Association<http://www.mailoutinteractive.com/Industry/Redirect.aspx?u=1363423&q=1100379500&lm=55452036&r=852485&qz=08f78fdd1334fcc510c315df86cf1ed2> (WMA), the membership organization for museums and museum professionals in the Western United States, to host a joint international conference in Edmonton, Alberta on September 20 - 23, 2017.

The AMA / WMA are requesting session proposals that address how we can work together to take action more efficiently, more effectively, and more powerfully.

This includes:

  *   Unconventional  and innovative partnerships
  *   Museums as agents of social change / social justice
  *   Activism in museums
  *   Diversity in exhibits, programming, and museum staff / boards
  *   Museums as inclusive places
  *   Environmental responsibility
