Hello,

Happy August 1st! I don't know about you, but I can't believe how quick
summer is flying by!

Have you registered for the BCMA's August webinar yet? This month's
webinar is happening at the end of the month, allowing you all to finish
your vacations and come back refreshed and ready to learn about community
partnerships!

For those stepping into a new museum community, creating connections and
building relationships can be a daunting task. How do you create relevant,
engaging exhibits and programs in a community you barely know? This webinar
will discuss strategies in which museums can build, mold, and foster
partnerships with their organizations. Where do you start? Who do you talk
to? How do you maintain relationships once they’re built? Get ready to
listen, think, and share in this interactive community engagement webinar!

Cold Calling & Sweet Talking: Building Grassroots Community Partnerships,
presented by Amanda Sittrop
Date: Tuesday, August 29
Time: noon-1pm
Cost: free for members, $10 for future members.

Register and find more information here: https://bcmawebinar5.eventbrite.ca/

This webinar will be our 5th webinar! Did you know we average 25
institutions attending each webinar? So far we've had great feedback, with
over 90% of attendees telling us they learned something and found the
webinar extremely useful. Don't miss these great monthly Pro-D
opportunities!
