Wildlife Photographer of the Year opens
at the Royal BC Museum

Victoria, BC - The world-renowned Wildlife Photographer of the Year exhibition opens to the public on Friday, December 8 at the Royal BC Museum.

Members of the media are invited to the exhibition's opening event:

Date:   Friday, December 8, 2017
Time:             9:30 am, arrive at Security
9:45 to 10:00 am, opening event, followed by viewing and interviews with spokesperson and members of the public
Place:             Second Floor, Royal BC Museum, Victoria

Wildlife Photographer of the Year showcases 100 of the best wildlife photographs out of 50,000 entries from 92 countries for the annual contest and includes:
§  Winning photographs that are beautifully backlit, each featuring the story behind the image.
§  Images by young photographers from ages 10 to 17, in three age categories, including Finalist Josiah Launstein of Alberta.
