Appetite for Art Fundraiser
for the Kelowna Art Gallery

Saturday, April 22, 2017, 7 to 10 pm
at the Kelowna Art Gallery

March 24, 2017 - Kelowna, BC: The idea to celebrate the best in fresh, local cuisine, art, and drinks has been a successful one for the Kelowna Art Gallery - and it's back!

On Saturday, April 22, 2017, Walker Real Estate presents the Appetite for Art Fundraiser at the Kelowna Art Gallery. Proceeds from this important evening support children's and educational programming at the Gallery.

This year, guests are invited to take a "walk in the woods" - embarking on a journey through the entire Gallery that is inspired by the natural world.

Upon arrival, guests will walk the green carpet with a glass of sparkling wine in hand, courtesy of beverage partner Blue Mountain Vineyard and Cellars.

Attendees can expect an evening spent sampling delicious culinary dishes and pairings, taking in lively pop-up performances by Kinshira Performance Troupe, while being swept away by the woodland atmosphere.

Works of art by over thirty local artists will on display in the Gallery's largest exhibition space, including many unique works created specifically for Appetite for Art.

While guests mingle they are encouraged to bid on works of art that catch their eye, while they enjoy a roaming feast prepared by Waterfront Wines, Joy Road Catering, Okanagan College Culinary Arts Program, BNA, Nesters Market, and Sandrine French Pastry and Chocolate. Menu items will be paired with beverage tastings from Mission Hill Family Estate, Tree Brewing Co., and Okanagan Spirits Craft Distillery.

Chris Walker, host of Daybreak South on CBC Radio will be returning as emcee for the evening.
