Hello everyone and happy November!
There are just under three weeks remaining until our November webinar:
Digital Design on a Dime, presented by digital exhibit producer, Ryan Meech.
Join Ryan as he outlines how to produce quality, innovative digital
exhibits more affordably. The session will cover some of the basics of
designing digital museum pieces, the types of projects that can be produced
most cost-effectively, how to find the partners and talent needed to bring
the projects to reality at a reasonable cost, and realistic expectations
when introducing more digital interactivity to your institution.
*Webinar information:*
Date: November 21
Time: noon-1pm PST
Cost: Free for members!
Register and more information at: http://bcmawebinar8.eventbrite.ca
Be sure to get your tickets soon as this webinar is bound to sell out. The
BCMA webinars have been spreading through Canada (our last webinar featured
attendees from 8 provinces!) and 20% of tickets are already spoken for this
month. I also am fortunate enough to have the opportunity to speak at the
Museum Computer Network conference in Pittsburgh next week where there will
be museum staff from across North America wanting to sign up and see what
we're up to in BC. Don't miss out!
Thanks,
Ben
