*Existential Cafe: Sunday February 11th @2pm at the Lake Country Art
Gallery*

Come and gather around the campfire for an artist talk with Melany
Nugent-Noble and Trent Noble.

Melany and Trent's installation, third beach, invites us to ponder the idea
of community by activating the gallery as a gathering space, enhancing a
sense of warmth comfort and home with a virtual campfire.

*third beach *is up at the gallery until February 25th.


*Call for Submission: Who Are We? A Visual Narrative of Our Community*

 ...is open to everyone of all ages, individual and collaborative works
(artwork created by 2 or more individuals) are all welcome, any size, any
medium.

*Submission dates: February 22, 23 and 24 at the Lake Country Art Gallery
during regular gallery hours.*

Artwork must be ready to hang with appropriate hardware and clearly
labelled with artist(s) name(s). PLUS you will be asked to complete the
following statement:

I believe that the 3 ingredients needed to make up a strong and inclusive
community are ... [ 1......____........./ 2......____......./
3.......____.......]

Each submission can include up to two artworks

*FIRESIDE COMMUNITY GATHERINGS and ACTIVITIES coming up ...*

* • **Thursday 8th February 5pm-6pm: Fireside Meditation *and gentle seated

           Qi-gong exercise with Megan Gerace (by donation, $10 recommended)

*•         Fridays & Saturdays from Feb 2nd *: *Gentle Fireside Yoga* by
the fire; practice with Tonette deVera (by donation, $10 recommended)

3, 16, 17, 23 and 24 at 4:30pm*

*•         Monday February 12th FAMILY DAY* *Fireside Story-telling and
live music *with a cup of hot cocoa - two sessions 11am and 1pm. Brought to
you by District of Lake Country in collaboration with LC Art Gallery. Check
