[BCMA] #MuseumSelfie Day is one week away!

Hello everyone!

I hope you're all limbering up, practicing your poses, and oiling up your
selfie sticks (or not, depending on your museum's policy) because it's
almost that time of year again: #MuseumSelfie Day!

The fifth #MuseumSelfie Day is happening on January 17 - that's one week
away.  Lots of BC museums took part last year, so we're hoping even more do
this year!  You can post pictures from within exhibits, a selfie of your
museum building, show off something cool (with you next to it), or
something completely new and creative that we haven't thought of yet.  Have
a museum mascot?  Why not get them to "take over" your social media
accounts?

#MuseumSelfie day is open to all.  Staff can participate, or you can
encourage your visitors to join in.  The important thing about this event
is to have fun!

Be sure to post on Twitter or Instagram (or Facebook, but the big action
will be on the other two networks) using the hashtag #MuseumSelfie or
#MuseumSelfieDay, and while you're at it please include #BCMuseums so we
can find your great posts! You can also follow @MuseumSelfieDay
