[BCMA] Cases Available for Donation

Hello everyone!

My name is Kate, I’m the Fabrication Coordinator at the Museum of Anthropology. We have a few textile cases which were made in house for a recent exhibit and we have no room for them! They are large (2200mm L x 1800mm W x 1300mm H), constructed from Marvel Sealed MDF, steel for the base, oiled yellow cedar for the sides, e-bond for the interior lining and sliding shelf, finished with a glass top and sealed with construction grade silicone. The cases open from the front and the interior shelf slides out for ease of object installation. We used them to host weavings, but these would also be great for other types of objects. The total height of the case top is 300mm, but there is only approx. 120mm of space between the top of the shelf and the glass top. We would like to donate these to good homes! They come with wheelboards for transportation, but you must pick up. Please see the attached picture and contact me at the phone number or e-mail listed below.
