[BCMA] Archival Recommendation

Hello BCMA Community,

We recently had a gentleman come in to the museum with some questions
regarding a family document from 1863.

The letter is folded and has been kept in an envelope away from light and
handling, so it is in good condition. However the writing is quite faded in
places and he would like to know if there are any techniques that he and
has family could use to digitally enhance the writing. He thought possibly
UV light? Is there anything he should be doing to stop further fading?

Do any of you have any recommendations for techniques, and where he could
go to have the work done (if it is something he can't do himself)?
