[BCMA] Natural History Exhibit Restoration Fundraiser

Hi everyone,


The Hornby Island Natural History Exhibit - home to many Gulf Island
treasures, specimens and artifacts since the early 1990s - has suffered
smoke and soot damage since a fire at the Hornby Island Community School
(where we are located) caused a third of the building to burn down and the
rest to be damaged by smoke and water.


We are seeking help to raise funds for the restoration and maintenance that
will be required as our Insurers inform us that the costs will far exceed
our policy limit. If anyone is interested in supporting this project, we

We are dedicated to doing everything we can to continue making the
collection and our educational outreach programs available to the public in
the future and to ensuring that the collection will continue to enrich
lives for many years to come.
