[BCMA] deaccessioned materials

Hello,

the Kelowna Museum has some rejected donations that we would like to offer to other museums:

·         tobacco adverts and some packaging, most in good condition

·         tobacco silks in varying sizes and themes

·         tapestry reproduction of wine making scene

·         2 newspapers from 1849, London England

·         ladies elbow length white kid gloves

·         men’s tuxedo shirt

·         various light meters

·         brownie Hawkeye camera

·         various glass bottles and ink jars, from an building construction site so they are dirty

·         razor strop

·         wood plane

·         glass syringe kit with needles and sharpener

·         Birdwing butterflies

·         American apple boxes and box ends

·         1930s wedding dress (wedding was in Penticton)

The objects are available for transfer to other museums and heritage or public institutions. Recipient museums are asked to cover any mailing and shipping costs.
