Hello BCMA Friends!

The City of Port Coquitlam has approached us about potentially restoring a
wooden chair/throne used since 1931 for our city's annual May Days
celebrations. The wood apparently needs some restoration (though I have not
seen the chair in person yet), however the seat of the chair originally
covered in red velvet is the most unstable and cannot be used this year
without some work.

Are there any resources you can direct me to if we want to restore this
chair ourselves? Are there any lower mainland professionals you can
recommend?

Thank you very much,
