Hi,

You might want to contact Fort Langley National Historic Site and request a referral to whomever is their collections manager these days or, even, who it is in their Parks Canada headquarters in Calgary that does research for PC sites in western Canada. Phone is 604-513-4777. Amn Johal, an interpreter at Fort Langley , is always helpful

Good luck.

We know that there was a international boundary survey camp around there established by the Americans in the late 1850s. The general area was the terminus of the Fort Langley and Semiahmoo Trails, and White Rock was a popular place to hunt birds.
