[BCMA] Senior Arts and Culture Consultant Rates

Hi, folks.  Hope you and yours are all safe and sound and had a good holiday
break.

 

I am working developing a project which would engage a senior arts and
culture consultant who had substantial, senior-level planning experience in
an art museum.  I'm not looking for an international "rock star", but
someone who could credibly and systematically develop a practical arts and
culture strategy for an institution which has not previously engaged arts
and culture in a transport and technology context.  Unfortunately, I do not
know what the going rate is for people with this level of experience in an
arts milieu.  

 

A colleague suggested $250 per hour would not be surprising, though another
colleague suggested I put this to the BCMA list-serv and see what people
suggested would be a reasonable rate.  So here I am once again!

 

As always, I would welcome your thoughts!  And if you know of any good
consultants who might fit this role, I'd welcome your advice too.
