[BCMA] scorpions, soup and electricity, items available for transfer from the Vernon Museum and Archives

Hello,
Today the Vernon Museum and Archives has a positively electric collection of objects available for transfer:
Special items: glass and porcelain insulators, in a variety of colors and shapes. They may not sound like much, but they are a collector's joy. For everyone else they will bring back happy memories of what electrical poles looked like in days of yore. They also make terrific paperweights. Let me know if you are interested and I will send you photographs, we have roughly 30 available.
For those of you who aren't electricians we have a dressing table. Its blond burled walnut and in excellent shape. To my uneducated eye it appears to be from somewhere between the late 1920's to late 1940s. (1989.109.106)
We also have available a matching set of sturdy wood bed trays, both of which are in good condition. They were used by the Red Cross during WW2 and they look like just the thing to rest a bowl of nourishing warm broth on. I feel a bit better just looking at them.  (2003.013.001/2002.013.002)
I have saved the best for last! In a beautiful wood case we have a mounted collection of 20+ South African insects, from butterflies, to beetles, to one of the most stunning examples of cerritulus insectum I have ever seen. They date from 1972, and apart from one beetle that's roamed free of its pin the entire thing is in excellent condition. Just one look and your visitors will be filled with the wild urge to purchase beige clothing and dive into the forest with a big net just to see what they might find. (2009.054.026)
