the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples: An Expert Seminar*

UBC is organizing an expert seminar

of Ceremonial Objects and Human Remains Under the UN Declaration on the
Rights of Indigenous Peoples*, in support of the United Nations Expert
Mechanism on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples (EMRIP).

This *free* seminar offers a special opportunity for First Nations
citizens, faculty, students and the public to learn about Indigenous and
state perspectives on issues related to the repatriation of cultural
property.

The seminar’s keynote address
