Hi, Cathy! At CMA in 2019 the Rick Hansen Foundation made a compelling presentation on their analysis and accreditation for accessibility. They seem to be very credible. I believe Ingenium used them in Ottawa for their most recent rebuilding. I wonder if they have resources or grants available to help with the analysis and recommendations.
Best,
Jim Cullen

Hello;
Revelstoke Museum & Archives is currently working on an Accessibility Needs Analysis. We have a two storey building with wheelchair access to the main floor only. As a first step in improving accessibility, we need to do an analysis of our target audience, their potential accessibility needs, and the goals and objectives of the museum in regards to building accessibility.
Has anyone already gone through this process? I would appreciate any recommendations regarding methodology for gathering information, sources to go to for data, and any other suggestions.
Thank you,
Cathy English, Curator
