A new scholarship to support Indigenous arts education is available from
the First Peoples' Cultural Council.

  Hello Theresa,

First Peoples' Cultural Council and the BC Arts Council realize the
importance of supporting Indigenous arts education and are proud to
announce the *NEW! Indigenous Arts Scholarship.*

This new program supports the development of First Nations, Métis and/or
Inuit artists and arts practitioners residing in B.C. with funding for
training in the arts.

This is the first FPCC program to support students in pursuing arts
education through either post-secondary OR mentorship training.

We are currently accepting applications online through the FPCC grant portal
<http://www.fpcc.ca/login/>.

The deadline to apply is April 15, 2020.

*The objective of the Indigenous Arts Scholarship: *

   - Pursue arts training through an accredited institution.
   - Pursue arts training through mentorship with an established artist.
   - Increase knowledge, skill development and opportunities for artists
   and arts practitioners.
