Hi Tammy,

May I suggest contacting staff at either the Kitimat or Terrace museum to determine if they might have some suggestions, Watson Lake, Yukon as well vis a vis the carvings. The latter has a small museum and the ties with Cassiar historically have been fairly strong in the past - despite being in two different political jurisdictions. There is no public entity collecting in Dease Lake, the closest small centre in B.C. I know that what is being offered does not fit in with the Atlin historical society collecting mandate, the only other town in that part of the Pacific Northwest.

Good luck.

Cheerio,

Sue Morhun
