Following the success of Family Day 2019 and 2020, the Province of British
Columbia has once again partnered with the BC Museums Association to
provide one-time grants to support local museums, art galleries, cultural
institutions and First Nations communities in coordinating family-based,
admission-free community activities.

To ensure that Family Day 2021 is safe as well as fun, grants of up to
$1,000 are available to support the creation of online cultural activities,
and grants of up to $1,250 are available for in-person activities to cover
a portion of the costs, such as art supplies, facility expenses, equipment
rentals, and enhanced cleaning and safety supplies for a free Family Day
community activity.
