[BCMA] Women in Science: Online Talk at the Beaty Museum (Feb 10 at 1pm)

Hello BCMA folks!

I wanted to send a quick note out that tomorrow, the Beaty Biodiversity Museum is hosting a special Beaty at Home<https://beatymuseum.ubc.ca/events/event/online-beatyhome-live-women-in-stem/> talk, Wednesday Feb 10 at 1pm, featuring Women in Science!

Kashifa, one of the museum's interpreters, will be joined by Dr. Diane Srivastava<https://www.zoology.ubc.ca/~srivast/index.html> (UBC Zoology) and Jen Baron<http://sarahgergel.net/lel/people/jen-baron/> (UBC Forestry) for a conversation on their experiences in biodiversity research. It's a great time to learn more about the experiences of women in science, and to celebrate the UN International Women and Girls in Science Day<https://www.un.org/en/observances/women-and-girls-in-science-day>.
