[BCMA] Fwd: New Program: Pivot for Individuals

Dear Colleagues,

As part of our ongoing response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we’re pleased to
announce a new funding program, *Pivot for Individuals*.



This program supports individual artists and cultural workers as they
manage the impacts of the pandemic. It’s intended to assist individual
professional artists, cultural practitioners, and arts administrators to
adapt and transition their practice or to undertake activities that will
sustain or advance their career.



Funding is available up to $12,000. There are two categories that
individuals can apply to:



*Category 1: Adaptation and Transition*



Projects that allow individuals to make bold pivots or transitions in their
artistic practice in response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Applicants may
apply to adapt an existing work or body of work or undertake research and
establish new approaches to their work.



*Category 2: Professional Development*



Assistance is available for professional development opportunities or
specific learning activities that will sustain or advance an individual’s
career.
