Did you miss Monday's deadline to submit proposals for live sessions, pre-event workshops, or tie-in content for the first of the Alberta Museums Association's (AMA) 2021 Conference Series events? There are still ways to get involved for our March event!

New this year: Lightning Talks! Join your peers and colleagues from across the province and beyond for a rapid-fire joint session of presentations. These five-minute opportunities are a great way to quickly highlight projects, successes, lessons learned, or new ideas that may not constitute a full session. Lightning talks should be quick paced and often use humour to focus on one key element. If you are a Conference regular looking for a new, fun format to present, or someone interested in getting your first Conference presentation experience, lightning talks are perfect for anyone.

If you want to join a lightning talk session for the March 18 event, email your idea to Ben Fast, Program Lead, at learning at museums.ab.ca<mailto:learning at museums.ab.ca>. Your presentation should reflect one of the 2021 Conference pillars of Reconciliation, Inclusion, Community, and Innovation. Ideas should be sent in by Wednesday, January 20 for consideration.
